Pixla Editor is a code editor for the Mac, made for the web: HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with syntax highlighting, autocomplete and Emmet built in.
It’s for the moment a visual builder runs out — when a page needs a line of code that no control can give it. Open a Pixla Sites project and edit its HTML and CSS with everything in view: component names, class structure and asset paths.
Changes show as you type, in a preview beside the code. No saving, no refreshing, no switching to a browser.
It’s written in Swift with AppKit, so it opens at once, scrolls smoothly and keeps your fans quiet. It isn’t trying to be VS Code or Xcode. It’s the focused tool for the page in front of you.
Pixla Editor is free.
